 Your post holes are always dug below the frost line and then 8" concrete is poured to create a solid base for your deck to be built on.  We then use only the top quality available pressure-treated lumber to frame your deck, always above and beyond code requirements.  We install metal connectors and structural screws everywhere applicable to help insure the safety and longevity of your new custom deck.  We value your peace of mind and this is why we try to go above and beyond standard decking practices.

Yes, J Brothers Construction offers deck repairs and maintenance services.

Our lead time is dependent on our workflow and tends to vary by the season.  In the summer, our schedule sometimes is full for 3 to 6 months.  However, the case may be, we are dedicated to clear communication and will always be upfront and transparent about our timeline to build your new deck.    

For all of our services, we can generally offer a quote within three business days. For custom decks, there can be many variations that can delay the quote.  After the initial project consultation, you will be told how soon you can expect the quote. 

Yes, we can assist with the process.  While most townships do not require a permit if you are merely replacing a deck, if you are changing the size or building a new deck, you are likely required to apply for permits.  We can take care of acquiring the required permits and any necessary drawings or engineering for that.  Our goal is to make your entire project as easy and relaxed as possible.
